On Saturday the 18th of April my Mum and I decided to make banoffee pie. We wanted to make it for our whole family.
The first thing we did was crush the chocolate chip biscuits into little pieces and put it in a big red bowl ,then we put melted butter with the chocolate chip biscuits and mixed it together to make our base for the pie. We then place the mix into a cake tin and placed it in the fridge to chill and set (my mum said this means to help harden up the base quicker) While we waited for that, we sliced our bananas and whipped our fresh cream with a electric mixer. After 20 minutes in the fridge, we pulled out our base for our pie and added the caramel first and then we put the sliced banana's on top of the caramel and then we covered it with whipped cream and topped it with broken up flake into little bits. And then we put the whole thing in the fridge for an hour and ate it with my entire family.
